To The Good Horse Getting Old:
I’m thankful for the old horse, I don’t mind the maintenance or extra groceries. I’m happy to be their steward and caretaker. They always have a space in my pasture with green grass and alfalfa to eat, a soupy mash, and some ice on their softball sized knees. The old horse is wise and kind and young in spirit.
